What is the PrismaStar Product Selector Tool?

How does it work?

The software works by pulling merchant product feeds and placing the contents, along with the attributes, within the tool. Product Selector’s allow web browsers to filter their product specifications with a dynamically updated display of products that meet with their specific criteria.

The Product Selector Content Widget has the ability to prioritise search results so that it will never show zero items, instead displaying products or services closest to the user’s defined parameters.

Installation & Usage

With a simple copy and paste process for affiliates, the application can be integrated in to a publisher website within minutes.

Simply follow these four easy to follow steps:

Click the ‘Apps’ link in the Admin Area (under the ‘Web Services and Tools’ heading) and agree to the terms and conditions of use. Once inside the App, find and select the merchant that you would like to create the Product Selector for. Each merchant will have a Selector per category (cameras, laptops etc) from which you can choose.

Once you have chosen the Product Selector you would like to display you also have the option to add a [|click ref]. This will generate one line of coding in which your affiliate ID will be automatically inserted. Please double check your affiliate ID to ensure all sales data is tracked correctly.

You should now see the coding displayed in the character box. Copy and paste the code into your websites html coding, wherever you would like the Product Selector displayed on your site. You can also preview your results.

The Product Selector has a minimum width of 630 pixels. However, it will adapt to the size of your webpage for widths over 630, allowing you to display more products in the tool.
