The Partnerships Team was formed in the early part of 2008 and has taken on the role of managing key affiliates, ShopWindow clients and branded partners.
In addition to this the team also monitors all affiliate applications to the network in order to monitor for quality and ensure that those with promise can be helped to reach full potential.
All affiliate enquiries come through the Partnerships Team giving the team a strong understanding of both new and existing affiliates, and enabling Partnerships to assist in the most appropriate manner for each enquiry.
Traditionally, the role of the Partnerships Team has also been to work specifically with our ShopWindow Partners. However, this focus has now shifted to enable a more proactive approach towards the Top 200 Affiliates on the Network.
These affiliates have been ring-fenced and divided between five staff members in order for the affiliates to have a dedicated point of contact who will help towards a collective target of continuous programme growth and improvement.
Our Three Key Account Teams have also been allocated a dedicated Partnerships point of contact to enable our merchant programmes to work more effectively with all affiliates but in particular these Top 200.
The Partnerships Team is also heavily involved in the implementation and management of the IAB voucher code changes. The team is in constant contact with voucher code affiliates ensuring they adhere to the IAB voucher code guidelines in order to improve the quality of voucher code affiliate websites in the industry.
A recent addition to the responsibilities of the Partnerships Team is the Downloadable Software Guidelines
