What is the Mozilla Deeplink Builder?

This application has been developed in response to feedback from the affiliate community who want to create deeplink quickly and simply.

After installing this plug-in on to your Firefox browser you will be able to create deeplinks to any page of any Affiliate Window merchant with a single click!

Installation & Usage

To use the Mozilla Deeplink builder you must first download the Plug-in, you can do this from the Plug-in section of your affiliate window account.

Once you click on “Install” it will open a new Tab in Firefox and present you with a simple wizard which will take you through the setup process where you are asked to enter your Affiliate Window ID and password. Simply follow the simple set up instructions and the Deeplink builder will plug right into FireFox, ready and waiting to be used.

After installing the Deeplink Builder a button like the one below will appear beside your URL bar.

Simply browse to any Affiliate Window merchant website and create a deeplink to any product (or page) by simply clicking the ‘aw’ icon or using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Alt+B.

NOTE: Deeplinks can be generated for any merchant on the network irrespective of your status with that merchant. However you cannot generate deeplinks to websites that do not work with Affiliate Window.

The code for the new deeplink will appear in a pop-up window (Such as the one below) with some options. With your preferences made, copy the code to your clipboard, then paste it on to your site, email, blog then set it live.

You may configure the link to your desired structure,

• Take the link as a URL or pure HTML

• Add a Click Ref

• Edit the ‘alt text’

Once you have defined your preferences simply copy the link to the clipboard and paste it on to your site, blog or E-mail.

If you are not joined up to the merchant it will show a Green Status message like the one in the above image with the option to join the merchant there and then, otherwise you will be able to create trackable deeplinks which will work straight away.
