Welcome to Affiliate Window

This document has been written to guide you through the steps involved in setting up your programme with us.

Pay the setup fee

Before we are able to launch your programme and go live on the network, you are required to settle the invoice for your setup fee. You can pay this by one of the following methods:

  • BACS Transfer
  • Credit/Debit Card
  • Cheque (made payable to Digital Window Ltd)

If you have any queries regarding payment, please contact our Accounts Department (contact details are available on the final page of this guide).

Login to your account

You will be sent a Darwin invite by one of the Technical Services Analysts which will allow you to create a User Account. By using this user account you will be able to manage any other merchant accounts you have with Affiliate Window.

Completing your Merchant Profile

You will need to complete your Merchant Profile before your program is launched on the network, as it will allow you to promote yourselves to affiliates. Please view here for further details on Merchant Profiles.

Reporting

On the right of the page below the main navigation menu are the reporting functions for your account. These reports will contain all the historic performance and transaction data for your programme, please click here for further information on these reports.

Technical Setup

There are a number of technical aspects which will need to be completed before your programme can go live onto the Affiliate Window network.

These steps can be found on the Merchant Integration Summary page.

How to add Commission Groups

If you would like to split up your commission rates by product groups, you can do this by creating commission groups within your program. Please view here for further details on how to do this.

Banners & Creative Setup

Affiliate Window recommends that you offer at least one banner for each size within your account. Banners can be created as a GIF, animated GIF, or a Flash file. Please view the Banner Specification Guide for further instructions.

We recommend that you avoid including URL extensions such as .com or .co.uk within the banner design as this can dissuade affiliates from displaying the creative. It is also important that telephone numbers or any other information that may encourage customers to purchase offline is not included.
