Introduction

The Archived Commission Report allows avertisers to generate a report detailing the number of transactions that have been approved or declined within a day, week, month and/or year. The report can be manipulated in many ways including only showing information for a particular publisher or to filter out specific information such as declined transactions. This report enables you to keep track of number of approved and/or declined transactions within the specified period, which will assist you to manage your publisher programme effectively.

From: This option defines the start date of your report
To: This option defines the end date of your report
Search publisher by ID or site name: This option allows you to search for transactions by publisher (you can drill down to a specific publisher by entering their ID number), sale amount, IP address and Extra (order reference number)
Base results on: This option allows you to order transactions by transaction date or validation date
Sort Results by: This option defines whether the report should be based on approved commissions, declined commissions or both. In addition you can select to see a particular number of transactions


Column explanation

What is the “Status” column?

The “Status” column refers to whether the commission has been approved (green) or declined (red). Clicking on “Status” will sort the report by Status.

What is the “ID” column?

The “ID” column refers to the Affiliate ID number. Clicking on “ID” will sort the report by Affiliate ID.

What is the “Affiliate” column?

The “Affiliate” column lists all the Publishers that have generated validated sales. Clicking on “Affiliate” will sort the report by Publishers.

What is the "Device" column?

The "Device" column refers to the hardware used to make the sale. Hovering over the icon will show whether the sale was made on a PC, Apple Mac or mobile device etc.

What is the “Sale amount” column?

The “sale amount” column refers to the sales amount for each transaction. Clicking on “Sale Amount” will sort the report by the highest/lowest sale amount.

What is the “Commission Amount” column?

The “Commission Amount” column refers to the amount of commissions for a particular transaction. Clicking on “Commission Amount” will sort the report by the highest/lowest commission amount.

What is the “Date” column?

The “Date” column combines the transaction date and validation date. Clicking on “Transaction Date” will sort the report by the date the transaction occurred. Clicking on “Validate Date” will sort the report by the date the transaction was validated.

What is the “Time between Click-Transaction” column?

The “Time between Click-Transaction” column refers to how long the transaction took from clicking on a publisher link to purchasing the product or completing an application form. Clicking on “Time between Click-Transaction” will sort the report by the longest/shortest period of time it took the customer to purchase or complete an application via a publisher.

What is the “Voucher” column?

This column specifies whether a voucher code has been used. This report can only be used if voucher code tracking has been implemented. Clicking on “Voucher” will sort the report by the transactions that used and did not use a voucher code.

What is the “Order Ref” column?

This column specifies the order reference number for each transaction. Clicking on “Order Ref” will sort the report by order reference number.

What does the “Next >” function do?

The “Next >” function navigates forward a page in your generated report.

What does the “Last >” functions do?

The “Last >” functions navigates to the final page in your generated report. Why does it display a previous date in the top-left corner of my report (e.g. May 2009) This is a smart function that allows you to navigate to a previous report. It takes the “From” and “To” dates and calculates the previous dates, allowing you to navigate by date period.

How do I export my report?

You can export your report via the “Excel icon” next to the “Next >” and “Last >” navigation links. This report is only available in .CSV format.
